Neuralog is looking for dynamic individuals to build product sales in Latin America, Canada, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia/Pacific. Each candidate will represent the designated region with demonstrated ability to sell in the information technology sector of the oil and gas industry.   • A degree in engineering, geology or sales-related discipline

Client Services Representative                                      (Updated 8/09)

Motivated, enthusiastic professional needed to join our team as Client Services Representative. In this role, you will proactively interact with our customers to ensure their ongoing success in the use of our products by providing technical consultation, support and training via phone, email or at the client site. This includes assisting potential customers throughout the evaluation process; assisting clients with product installations, licensing and any technical issues that may arise; assisting key clients with special projects; ensuring clients are using the latest software releases; and developing training and demonstration materials and providing periodic training opportunities to encourage product use.  Send resume to webmaster@neuralog.com.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

        
  • Oversee Evaluations of our products by interacting with customers
  •     
  • Assist customers in the Installation, Licensing and daily use of our products
  •     
  • Verify that Company Database reflects current customer status
  •     
  • Assist key clients as directed by management with special projects such as data migration or disaster recovery
  •     
  • Ensure clients are using the latest software releases
  •     
  • Provide on-site and classroom Training
  •     
  • Communicate a broad and in-depth knowledge of all our products
  •     
  • Communicate a broad and in-depth knowledge of Product Installation, Use and Licensing, Computer Networking, UNIX and PC Operating Systems

 Qualified candidates will possess:

        
  • Associates or Bachelors degree or two to four years related experience
  •     
  • Understanding of basic database technology, software installation and software licensing
  •     
  • Experience with PC and UNIX operating systems
  •     
  • Experience with computer networking, Local Area Network
  •     
  • Understanding of basic Petroleum Geology concepts, including Well Logs, basic formation evaluation from well logs, directional drilling, subsurface mapping, mapping systems, log correlation, seismic sections and geological cross sections preferred
  •     
  • Experience with 1 or more computer exploration systems such as Landmark, GeoQuest or GeoGraphix - particularly with data loading issues preferred

Must be organized and have the ability to multi-task, self directed with strong written and oral communications skills and have the ability to work independently and in a team. Must be able to quickly acquire and apply new technical skills, and confront and solve challenging technical issues at client site. Must be willing to frequently travel to client site.  Must be able to maintain personable demeanor and positive attitude in the face of criticism and confrontational situations.
