 NeuraDB is an E&P focused Data Management System powerful enough for your enterprise, yet easy enough for everyone to use. NeuraDB is a scalable solution that supports structured data such as well records and unstructured data such as raster well logs, maps, reports, cross sections and most other G&G information. NeuraDB is based on the PPDM [Public Petroleum Data Model], using Oracle or SQL Server for its database engine and ESRI for its interactive map interface. Additionally, NeuraDB can integrate with the proprietary and industry standard databases you already use, as well as middleware applications, to provide a complete and flexible solution for your whole organization. Utilizing these technologies, NeuraDB helps today's E&P professionals, from technical staff to management gain timely access to corporate data.

NeuraDB provides one-stop access to all your digital and raster log data in a wide variety of formats whether this data comes from a corporate file system or from other disparate databases. Storage of log curves and original files is available. When more complex formats like DLIS, LIS and BIT are required, Oilware Tools run seamlessly in the background to deliver these types of digital data. Users have easy access to all their data through query, dashboard, map, or explorer-like interfaces. Data can be written to the Desktop or accessed within any G&G application.

Index, Organize and Load Data

NeuraDB uses automated, batch and interactive indexing to set up relationships between documents and corresponding entities (wells, fields, etc.) in order to organize and prepare data for loading.

• Documents are analyzed using a number of domain-specific criteria for automated indexing.
• Templates and spreadsheet loaders are used for batch indexing from proprietary databases and physical inventory catalogues.
• Interactive indexing involves assigning relationships by simply dragging and dropping your files onto relevant wells.

• A sophisticated Reference Value Management system helps standardize taxonomies [dictionaries and nomenclature].
• Interactive and scheduled synchronization functions validate and synchronize data during routine updates.
• Automated routines synchronize multiple NeuraDBservers for distributed architecture. For example, a corporate Master Repository is updated weekly with data from Operational Regional servers.

• Simple or complex work and certification orders can be created with pre-defined or user-defined templates.
• The status for each work or certification order and the status of the data within is tracked intelligently step by step in the order.
• Each step of the order may be assigned to a different user. When users complete a step in the order, they can store their digitally encrypted signature to mark the step as complete, update NeuraDB and message the next user.
• Certification Reports can be generated and can include a digital signature by the supervisor.
• Compliance Work Orders facilitate the finding and delivery of critical data on a timely basis as may be required by international, federal or state regulatory agencies.

Access and Deliver Data

NeuraDB makes it easy to query, display, and retrieve data for use in your commonly used G&G applications.

• Data are easily accessed through a familiar Windows Explorer style interface.
• An interactive, easy-to-use query builder helps find what you need when you need it.
• Spatial tools in ArcMap can be used to query and retrieve data directly from NeuraDB.
• Data is then delivered to G&G applications in any of the following ways:
• Well logs can be sent directly to your favorite application (NeuraLog, Petra, Landmark, etc.).
• Data can be exported in standard formats and imported into other applications.
• Data can be delivered from NeuraDB using Web Services into a portal, middleware or web-services compliant application.
• Data can be delivered with OpenSpirit's PPDM connector from NeuraDB to any OpenSpirit compliant application.
