NeuraWellTool works with both digital and raster well logs. Drag and drop log images and LAS files onto the NeuraWellTool workspace or scan logs directly into NWT with the NeuraScanner. Add the NeuraLaser printer, and you can reproduce logs with your own important notes and annotations.

NeuraWellTool - Log Access, Correlation and Markup

NeuraWellTool places well logs back in the geologist's hands. Instant data access, whether over the web or from your own files, makes finding and retrieving well logs easy. Correlation is straightforward through auto-posting or manual picking. Neuralog's multi-log scrolling, auto-depth alignment and ordered top selection make log correlation as smooth as possible.
Log markup and annotation are also simple. A set of easy to use tools including both text and graphical annotations allow you mark a variety of illustrations such as sand counts, bit changes and oil shows. Add test results, formation notes, even lithology bitmaps, and place anywhere on the log.
When your markup is complete, save your work to the NeuraWellTool database, send it over the web to your online data store/provider, or export to your exploration package. Print your annotated well logs with your well log printer or send them to NeuraSection to create cross sections, maps and montages of your project. NeuraWellTool is easily upgraded to NeuraSection for complete geological interpretation.
Well Logs Online
Through our partnership with Drillinginfo, NeuraWellTool can access data over the web. Drillinginfo provides both historical and current oil and gas data over the internet. NeuraWellTool interfaces directly to the DI online database, retrieving both logs and well data. DI clients can use NeuraWellTool to view and mark up logs, and then save their work back to the website in their own proprietary work file.
DI has pre-purchased copies of NeuraWellTool for participants of the Well Log Initiative or members whose subscription entitles them to well log downloads. These members will receive a pre-purchased copy of NeuraWellTool at no cost via download from the DI website.
