COURSE DETAILS

NeuraLog
Special Topic: New Release of Neuralog
From Scanning Paper Logs, Wizard Based Digitizing , Multi Log Display, Digital Log Editing, Well Header Integration, just to name a few.  The NeuraLog course takes you through each basic step of data capture and workstation output. Also learn about, batch scanning, QC workflow, dipmeter capture, and printing..
 Update your NeuraLog.

The NeuraLog course covers the steps required to take from scanning to creating a digital file (LAS) of the well log curves, or output to OW  The basic steps consist of depth registration, scale setup, curve tracing and editing.  The course will cover setup for a variety of different scale types including linear, logarithmic, multi-linear, amplified and hybrid as well as backup. Other topics include capturing tadpole plots, merging data and legacy digital data QC.  A demonstration of batch scanning and Q&A is also included.

NeuraMap
Special Topic: Integration with GIS Applications, Create Raster World Files!
The NeuraMap course focuses on capturing E&P data, including, wells, contours, faults, culture, and seismic, from raster (or CAD) maps.  Also learn about, interpreted seismic, new Petrosys output, and creating World Raster Files, to save even more time.  Find out about the many industry output formats NeuraMap supports.
  Update your NeuraMap.

During the course, a scanned drafted geological map will be registered, and the data captured using manual and automated techniques.  The pertinent issues involved will be discussed in detail including map projections, calibration point selection, line generalization, snapping, attribute entry, multiple overlapping datasets and data loading considerations.  The course also reviews techniques for: capturing data from color raster files, merging seismic section horizon and seismic shotpoint map data, creating World Raster Files and creating Petrosys output.

NeuraSection
Special Topic:  Creating Template Based Cross Sections in just a few minutes!!!
NeuraSection is now easier than ever to use!!!

The NeuraSection course takes you through rapid geological analysis.  Build a structural and stratigraphic framework by making show logs, cross sections, and maps in an interactive environment as well as creating a montage presentation with these products and other imported graphics. Pulling from NeuraLog and NeuraMap as well as AutoLoad digital and raster files to OpenWorks.
Update your NeuraSection.

The course starts by addressing data loading and merging from different standard and commercial sources including TIFF, LAS, IHS Energy, A2D, MJ Systems, Riley Electric Log, OpenWorks and Finder.  Integration with the NeuraScanner (Neuralog's portable well log scanner) is also discussed.  The course then reviews working with logs including indexing, depth registration, correlation, top/fault picking, annotation, sand/gas/oil counts and production data posting.  Next, structural and stratigraphic cross section generation is discussed as well as the appropriate display options including fault gaps, deviated well display, surface/fault profile editing, center-to-center and edge-to-edge display. Mapping and contouring of tops and net counts will be be reviewed as well as pulling and editing maps and loga from NeuraMap and NeuraLog.  A presentation montage will be constructed by incorporating G&G graphics from NeuraSection and other applications.

Seating is limited so register early.  Additional consulting time is available with advance notification.  Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the first day of training will receive a full refund.  Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the first day of training will be liable for the full tuition.  Companies can substitute one attendee for another at any time.

BRING YOUR OWN DATA

*If you wish to bring your own data, please let us know so we can have the appropriate scanning equipment available.  Appropriate data includes paper well logs and maps or a NeuraSection project.  We will be happy to get you started working with your data.
