NeuraMap Open, Setup and Calibrate a
Map [notes]

NeuraMap has an easy to follow wizard that takes you through each step of
setting up your map.
- To start working with a new map, select File->New and select the map
image. This example shows a Petroleum Map. You can also select map
types of Geological Cross Section, Seismic Section, or General Plot.
Choose NEXT.
- Name the Workspace that will hold your work. The workspace will
allow you to open and work with several maps at one time. NEXT
- Select the Capture types that you will be working with in this map.
Additional types can be added later if you do not know. NEXT
- Select the map projection. FINISH
- Begin calibrating the map. Click on a calibration point.
Set units and point value. Repeat with other calibration points.
NOTE: Well locations are commonly used for calibrating maps.
It is possible to digitize a map with no projection and no calibration.
