Log Curve Dictionary

The Log Curve Dictionary, known as the Wireline Vendor Dictionary, provides choices of three vendors with database information on naming curves.   This dictionary includes:

               -  Standard Curve Abbreviation

               -  American Petroleum Institute (API) Number

               -  Description Field

The vendor dictionaries we have are Schlumberger, Atlas Wireline, and Haliburton, but any of these may be edited to include new tools or user defined mnumonics. 

The list of curves seen when clicking on the Add New button in the CURVES section can be changed to suit individual preferences so the user doesn't have to choose Other... each time to select a curve digitized on a regular basis.

To edit Curve Dictionary/Menu:

1)  Options > Curve Dictionary/Menu...

2)  Add New Curve to Dictionary and/or Menu, or

3)  Add/Remove Existing Curve from Menu
