Logosub What is NeuraLog?

NeuraLog is the most widely-used automated log digitizing solution in the oil and gas industry.  NeuraLog's automated tracing streamlines data workflow, enhancing productivity by obtaining reliable information for time-critical projects. NeuraLog quickly and accurately transforms scanned raster images (color, grayscale or b/w) into useable, analysis-quality digital data.  The portable NeuraScanner is ideal for obtaining TIFF images from your paper well logs, but any scanner or logs scanned by a scanning service will work.

Well log data capture, quality control, interactive LAS curve editing, and calibrated raster export is straightforward through NeuraLog's simple interface, automation and special features.  Image warp and stretch are corrected by internal algorithms that are calculated from the automated calibration tied to the log's depth grid.  This provides a precise data set.  The image scrolls as the curve is traced for real-time verification, and LAS data accuracy can be verified instantly. Data is edited interactively to produce the best information available.

Immediate access to the original log image, log digits and well data is provided by NeuraLog (.nlg) files.  NeuraLog exports this valued information to virtually all available log analysis applications or else to NeuraSection and other E&P workstations via AutoLoad Connectivity.

NeuraLog operates on Win 98/NT/2000/XP.  Installation notes are available from the Support Page on our website, as well as shipped with your copy of NeuraLog.  They will cover steps for installing software and licenses in all environments.
