The first step in log digitization is to turn a paper log into a scanned log image. If you already have pre-scanned log images, NeuraLog can open the log image directly, provided it is a TIFF, JPEG or BMP image. If you have a paper log, it can be scanned with the NeuraScanner or any other standard scanner.
This section describes the procedures for loading and working with log images. To view a log image, a NeuraLog file must be created for that image. Once the NeuraLog file is created, it can be closed and re-opened at any time. Whenever a NeuraLog file is opened, its' associated image will be loaded into the NeuraLog document. The image will also be close when the NeuraLog file is closed.
