Following up on our last blog post, here are two more new key features that we have added to our NeuraSection Software solution:
CURVE DATA IMPORT TOOL
The new Curve Data Import Tool has the ability to import any custom table data and convert it into a LAS Curve. Different professionals record their data in many different ways. Sometimes users or companies don’t have access to LAS data, maybe they record this data differently so they can create their own proprietary algorithms to capture the data. Now our users can take generic custom data from excel, ascii, csv and txt and import that data into NeuraSection, which will generate these LAS files and can be assigned to a geographical location.
OPTICAL CHARACTER RECOGNITION TOOL (OCR Tool)
Typing has become a daily task for everyone and as a result, our hands tend to get tired after extended periods. One solution to help solve this pain problem is our OCR tool. Users can quickly select sections of a log header and capture information to populate the database rather than typing it all by hand. This can also be useful for capturing remarks in a well log to copy/paste them in the remarks section of the properties of the well.
