Working Remotely? Easy Options for Remote Access to Neuralog Solutions

The oil and gas industry is dramatically feeling the impact of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, and many companies are moving to a “working from home” environment to continue their daily business. We want to inform and reassure all our customers that we have options for you and we’re here to support your need to work remotely.

Below are the licensing models built into our Neuralog Solutions to support remote access.

• Single User License (or Dongle)
  • If your workstation is at the office with our software installed and you are using your personal PC:
    • Users can remote “screen share” using products like GoToMyPC or TeamViewer. As long as the main machine has a screen sharing client, and the user can access it, you can use Neuralog products.
• Network Licenses 
  • If your workstation client is at the office with our software installed and you are using your personal PC:
    • Users can remote “screen share” using products like GoToMyPC or TeamViewer. As long as the main machine has a screen sharing client, and the user can access it, Neuralog products will work.
  • If your workstation is at home with our software installed:
    • If a user has a VPN Client installed and a setup to connect with the office network license server, you can connect, and a license(s) will be checked out as if you were in the office. (Ensure there is not a set connection time limiter for the VPN client.)
• Any Case(s) IF the above will not work
  • You can ask for a temporary license every 30 days from Neuralog for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic. (This requires a request for installers on your Personal PC.)
