- Added a Next Job Settings page to control job-to-job behavior, including turning reversing between jobs on or off, a Jogging Override that prevents automatic reversing after you jog the media, and a Max Reverse Distance setting. The printer now backs up to the launch zone between the printhead and pinch roller to prevent skipped labels and avoid smearing the previous label.
- Added Print and Present Each Job, which presents the final label of each job at a position you specify and reverses before the next job starts to avoid skipping a label. A beta Print and Present Each Label mode is also available but is not fully supported.
- The Scalar Board can now be updated from the Check For Updates page, with a dedicated support tools page to set the scale factor. The image is also no longer stretched when print speed increases.
- The label count can now be adjusted when continuing a job, for both simple copies and sequenced labels.
- Calibration Profiles are more user friendly, and the correct profile is now applied when a job with profile information is sent. Callisto Driver 1.0.6 also fixes how Microsoft PowerPoint single-page and multi-page copies are handled.
- Added more settings pages and info buttons that explain certain settings, and you can now upload BNB, controller, or Scalar Board firmware directly from the Callisto web page. Web page and sensor settings now reload correctly after a controller update.
- Fixes and improvements include more precise Web Press Mode spacing, bad load alerts that appear on load and no longer appear after you jog the media, Print and Present no longer backing out of the printer after tearing, correct low ink level display, support for full-bleed labels of any gap size with skipped label protection, and added German and French language support.

- Callisto can now print labels on media of any gap size, including no gap.
- Added Skipped Label Protection, which zigzags the printer to avoid skipping a label within a job. Turn it on in print features and set the maximum reverse distance in settings.
- Added Calibration Profiles. Create up to 20 custom printhead profiles that save head height, die leveling, die alignment, and your notes, then apply them from the operator panel or web page, or select one for a job in the Callisto driver (Callisto Driver 1.0.4).
- Print and Present is now generally available. It advances the last label of a job to a position you set for easy peel or tear, and reverses at the start of the next job so it begins on the next label.
- Added accessory port support for external accessories, including the TotalPress finishing system.
- The controller updater was redesigned: updates now complete in about 30 seconds without a manual reboot. Printers with the updated image also boot in about 90 seconds.

August 9, 2023•CallistoFixes23.08.09.2
Ink, media loading, and update fixes
This Callisto update fixes a range of ink level, media loading, and print placement issues, and makes updates more reliable.
- Ink levels now display correctly on the operator panel and web operator panel. They reflect the ink threshold and appear in the same order as the ink inside the printer (YMCK).
- Fixed a startup issue where ink values could stay at 0 and the printer could remain in the booting state for several minutes after power-on.
- Ink-out job continuation no longer skips a label in print on next mark mode, and the ink drop icon now disappears correctly when the print completes.
- Fixed print placement when using Print on Leading Edge, Print on First Mark override, and Peel and Present, including when you switch between them. On media-out continuation, the job now resumes with the same load setting it started with.
- When you cancel a job, the media now advances to the next label so a partially printed label is not printed over, and the timer no longer stays at 0 seconds after a pause and cancel.
- Check for Updates is more reliable. Media is no longer ejected during a BNB update, a failed controller update tries again, and update buttons now ask you to confirm.
- Other fixes include red bar job separator placement for wide and half scale well logs, the operator panel no longer flashing old job information when a new job arrives, and the printhead capping as soon as the job queue is cleared.

- Added Sensor Diagnostics Plotting, which shows sensor behavior as a live plot on the operator panel.
- Added a customizable sensor timeout to help the sensors last longer.
- Added a Job Transfer Timeout setting for the maximum wait time on network file transfers, useful on very slow networks.
- Added Auto Present (Present and Peel), which advances the last label of a job to the end of the print zone for easy peeling or tearing and reverses at the start of the next job so no label is skipped.
- Ramp Up speed can now be customized in Device Settings, and the MAC address is shown under Device Information.
- Sensor settings (brightness and sensitivity) are now recorded in the job log.

February 15, 2023•CallistoMajor Update23.02.15
Job continuation, web server job management, and faster starts
This major Callisto update lets interrupted jobs resume at the correct label, speeds up print starts, and adds job management and settings import and export on the printer's web page.
- Added Job Continuation. After you replace ink cartridges, load new media, or clear a media stall, the job resumes printing at the correct label.
- Time to first print is much shorter for data-heavy jobs, and the printer automatically pauses to wait for data if it arrives more slowly than the print speed, for example on a slow network.
- Added job management to the printer's web server, including the Job Queue, Job Log, and Held Jobs. You can view and reprint jobs directly, and sort and multi-select held jobs for printing or removal.
- Printer settings can now be imported and exported through the web server, which makes it easy to set up several printers the same way.
- The operator panel home screen now shows a color ink drop icon and an alert when a cartridge is empty.
- Added Spanish language support and international character sets, and an optional Wi-Fi card is now available as a printer upgrade. The installer was also revamped for easier printer updates, with an automatic backup and reboot.
- Fixed crashes and shutdowns that could follow cancelling high coverage jobs, a condition where the printer controller stopped responding, and a failure to print when user or file names contained international characters.
